University of Kansas Bioscience Career Training Project
The University of Kansas' entry-level biomanufacturing course provides intensive laboratory technician skills for post high school graduates.
The intent of the course is to provide participants with the basic skills required for entry positions in the bioscience industry, including laboratory support, raw material testing and handling, media and buffer preparation.
The University of Kansas is partnering with Johnson County Community College to house the course and working closely with the Full Employment Council and Workforce Partnership in placing graduates.
