AIM KC

The National Association of Manufacturers has selected the Kansas City region to pilot its Dream It. Do It. manufacturing careers campaign. The Alliance for Innovation in Manufacturing-Kansas City (AIM-KC) is the local partner for this effort.

AIM-KC is working closely with community leaders who understand the importance of manufacturing and the role it will have in the future of our region and our nation. The Alliance includes representatives from manufacturing, education, business, government, and the civic community.

AIM-KC’s goal is to become an advocate for Greater Kansas City’s manufacturing community. Through such programs as NAM’s Dream It. Do It. campaign, AIM-KC will work to:

• Redefine the image of manufacturing
• Align educational and workforce training resources with the most pressing demands of area industry
• Ensure a competitive environment for area manufacturers
• Expand the size of our region’s manufacturing community
